Job summary

EDU Healthcare seeks a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based setting. This part-time role serves students in Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Evergreen, or Black Hawk, with the assignment depending on availability.

You'll work under supervision to deliver interventions described in IEPs. Responsibilities include improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, daily living activities; adapting activities; documenting progress; collaborating

Qualifications

Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
NBCOT exam passed and current COTA certification.
Active state licensure or certification before start date.

Responsibilities

Assist supervising OTs with therapy interventions per IEPs.
Provide direct support to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Adapt classroom activities and learning materials to meet individual student needs.
Monitor and document student progress and provide feedback to the OT for planning.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines.
Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required.
Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and district guidelines.
