Job summary

The Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA) seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a part-time itinerant role for the 2026-2027 school year. The position covers multiple school sites and requires 180 days per year, with 7.5 hours per day and a salary range of $60,080.97 to $106,974.21, depending on experience and placement.

NIA serves 68 school districts across Northwestern Illinois and offers professional growth, a comprehensive benefits package, and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must be BCBA-certified and eligible to practice in Illinois
• Master’s degree or Doctorate in applied behavioral sciences, psychology, education, or related field
• Proficiency with school-based technology and office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral interventions to students per IEPs and address behavior concerns
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to develop and implement BIPs and strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, data, and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings to ensure appropriate accommodations and supports
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in behavior analysis
