Job summary

The Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA) seeks a Part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves delivering behavioral interventions, collaborating with school teams, and supporting students with IEPs across multiple districts.

This itinerant position works 7.5 hours per day, 180 days per year, with a salary range of $60,080.97 to $106,974.21 depending on experience, location, and academic programming preferences.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
• Master’s degree or Doctorate in applied behavioral sciences, psychology, education, or related field.
• Illinois licensure or ability to practice in Illinois per ISBE rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior analysis services and interventions, delivering direct behavioral interventions according to IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to develop and implement BIPs.
• Maintain accurate records of services, data, and progress per regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings to support accommodations and behavior planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices.
