Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Behavior Aide in Monrovia, CA to support educational and behavioral services for students with special needs. The role collaborates with school professionals to implement learning plans and behavior plans in a classroom setting.

The position is contract, part-time, 25 hours per week, paying $23 per hour. Qualification requirements include a high school diploma and pediatric experience preferred; CPR and TB screening may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
