Job summary

The Boys Club of New York is seeking an SAT Regents Prep Tutor to support high school members at our Bronx location. You will adapt curricula, prepare materials, and deliver engaging SAT and Regent instruction while fostering a positive learning environment and tracking student progress.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in test-prep instruction, with preference for a Master's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in teaching test preparation and SAT/Regent prep.
• Experience with diverse population of males.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver program content.

Responsibilities

• Adapt SAT prep and Regent curriculum to meet member needs.
• Prepare, organize and update all course materials.
• Pace course information delivery to suit all students.
• Create an interactive classroom environment and build positive relationships.
• Ensure students are prepared for SAT/Regent exams.
• Model strong verbal and written communication.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
