Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join the Same Day Surgery team at Avenues Surgery Center in Salt Lake City, UT. This part-time, on-site role supports fast-paced perioperative care across pre-op, PACU, and post-op areas.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with licensure and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience in Same Day Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Develop individualized plan of care with patient and family.
• Direct and coordinate care with the care team.
• Evaluate patient response and revise plans as needed.
• Document accurately and timely, within licensure standards.
