As a Famous Footwear Sales Lead, you are passionate about providing the best shoe store experience for every customer. What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Inspire that Famous Feeling: Lead by example with integrity and drive, fostering a caring and camaraderie-filled culture. Coach team members on selling behaviors to enhance Customer Connection.
  2. Achieve Goals: Bring your best each day, take accountability, and drive sales with purpose. Every shoe sale counts!
  3. Manage Retail Operations: Know your store inside out—from pricing to inventory—and ensure it runs smoothly. Maintain cleanliness and organization for easy shopping.
  4. Connect the Dots: Adhere to company policies, utilize resources effectively, and accomplish tasks efficiently.
  5. Promote Our Culture: Embody and promote our Famous culture, delivering top-notch customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
  6. Maintain a Positive Environment: Embrace diversity and inclusivity, support your team, and stay proactive and upbeat, even during challenges.
  7. Be a Shoe Expert: Assist customers in finding perfect styles, make recommendations, and ensure they leave with the right fit and the Famous Feeling.
Essential Functions

Preferred Qualifications & Education
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Knowledge of retail practices and procedures.
  • Experience in team motivation and goal achievement.
  • Ability to mentor and train associates.
  • Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
  • Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements & Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. safely.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, push, and pull frequently.
  • Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Energetic team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
