POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Associate Lead supports store management in daily operations to deliver excellent customer experiences and maximize profitability. Responsibilities include sales transactions and register operations.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, respond professionally to inquiries and complaints.
- Operational Tasks: Handle cash, perform price changes, merchandise handling, and opening/closing duties; review payroll documentation.
- Sales Monitoring: Track associate sales activities, motivate, and train team members.
- Security & Policies: Be aware of customer activity to enhance service and security; stay updated on payment, exchange, and security policies.
- Merchandise Presentation: Know current sales and promotions; display merchandise accordingly.
- Inventory & Supplies: Support inventory receipt and dispatch per company policy.
- Supervision: Oversee sales associates, prepare schedules, and manage team performance.
- Sales Techniques & Customer Relations: Use sales techniques, share product knowledge, and build customer loyalty.
- Standards & Visual Merchandising: Maintain presentation, loss prevention, and participate in visual directives.
- Team Development: Assist in training, interpret KPIs, provide coaching, and support performance reviews.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, noting that duties may vary across brands.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Preferably 2+ years retail or sales management experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within the district.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of store operations and administrative tasks.
- Physical ability to stand, maneuver, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform related tasks.
- Reliable attendance and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays.
