Position Objective

The Sales Lead supports management in fostering a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and guiding principles in all store operations, including delivering excellent customer experiences and maximizing profitability. Functional Responsibilities
Drive for Results
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Manage operational activities such as opening, closing, and merchandise flow.
  • Supervise associates involved in sales, inventory, cash reconciliation, and customer services, ensuring proper staffing and knowledge of current promotions.
  • Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention.
  • Motivate the sales team to meet sales goals and develop a high-performance culture.
  • Train and coach team members on product knowledge and selling techniques.
Build High Performing Teams
  • Inspire and motivate the team, promoting shared vision and core values.
  • Encourage inclusive problem-solving and effective communication for positive change.
  • Seek personal development and feedback to enhance leadership skills.
Customer Experience
  • Promote and model the MAPS principles, providing a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Utilize sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers and build loyalty.
  • Handle customer concerns promptly and ensure efficient checkout processes.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients via customer books and rewards programs.
Talent Development
  • Support training initiatives and provide coaching based on KPI reports.
  • Recognize and reward outstanding employee performance.
  • Ensure adherence to employment policies.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 1+ year retail or sales management experience
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and manage store operations
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Constant walking/standing for 67-100% of an 8-hour shift
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%)
  • Frequent climbing (34-66%)
