Job summary

The Villages in Eastport is seeking a part-time, onsite Store Operations Assistant to greet customers, help locate products, unpack and display merchandise, and complete daily financial reports with accuracy and courtesy.

You will maintain inventory displays, operate the cash register, assist with purchases, discounts, and returns, and help keep the store clean and safe for all customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have working knowledge of retail, sales, etiquette, and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily operation to include opening and closing the store.
• Receive, unpack, categorize, price, and display store merchandise.
• Maintain inventory displays.
• Assist customers to locate products and/or make alternative recommendations and suggestions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly store environment.
• Provide information to customers.
• Operate the cash register; assisting with purchases, discounts, returns, etc.
• All other duties as assigned.
