Job summary

89th & Madison is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to energize the sales floor with customer-focused service and product knowledge. You will guide customers to find their personalized look, stock shelves, and keep the store clean.

Collaborating with teammates, you will aim to meet monthly and yearly sales goals, handle POS transactions, and build trust with shoppers while maintaining inventory and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service.
• Proficiency in English.
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions.
• Familiarity with inventory procedures.

• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds when merchandising the sales floor. Comfortable with using ladders or stairs
