Job summary

United Nations Language and Communications Training Unit seeks part-time Language Teachers (Russian) for the candidate pool. You will prepare and facilitate each lesson, assess homework, and monitor student progress according to the yearly calendar.

As a part-time teacher, you may participate in project work related to language or communication skills and must provide final evaluations and attendance reports by term end, following the Terms and Conditions of Service at Headquarters.

Qualifications

• Part-time language teachers prepare and facilitate each lesson as scheduled.
• Correct assignments and homework in a timely manner.
• Monitor students’ progress and suggest learning strategies weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and individual feedback.
• Administer, assess and grade evaluation tasks, tests and exams as scheduled.
• Provide final evaluations and attendance reports at term end.
