UN Atlas is seeking a part-time Chinese Language Teacher to join the Language and Communications Training Unit. This remote role involves delivering Chinese language and communication skills courses to UN staff across levels, via in-person, online, and hybrid modalities.

You will prepare lessons, assess learners, provide feedback, and contribute to curriculum development and language assessments, using Moodle or similar LMS tools to track progress and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience teaching Chinese as a foreign or second language to adults.
• At least three years in curriculum development, language examination design, or teacher training.
• Experience with e-learning tools, LMS, and online collaboration platforms is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and teach Chinese language and communication skills courses at all levels via in-person, online, or hybrid formats.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and monitor progress.
• Develop new Chinese language courses and learning materials; design assessments and grade language exams.
• Participate in language projects such as updating or designing course content.
