Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service diverse retail locations in the New Orleans area. You will display and maintain inventory for greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods while coordinating with store teams during daytime hours.

The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a starting pay of $12.60/hour with planned increases within the first year. Routes include local Behrman Pl and Manhattan Blvd locations in LA.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write, understand).
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to multiple locations.
• Internet access to receive critical updates.
• Willing to learn using a company-provided tablet.
• Occasional weekends and holiday scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Aid with store resets including fixture work or product relocation as needed.
• Plan weekly service workload across stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently or with a team.
