Job summary

Azalea Health & Rehab is seeking an RN with strong leadership to assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing staff and patient flow. The role involves admissions, documentation, and coordination with physicians, with a focus on compliant, high-quality care.

The position requires an active Georgia RN license, solid organizational and communication skills, and the ability to supervise both licensed and unlicensed staff in a non-profit healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN License to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day nursing staff functions.
• Admits, discharges and transfers patients as requested.
• Documentation and billing supplies used.
• Coordinates care planning and committee meetings as necessary.
• Provides demonstrations/education for licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Maintains effective communication with attending physicians.
• Monitors compliance with regulations and quality initiatives.
