Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day nursing staff functions.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested.
• Oversee documentation and billing supplies; ensure Medicare documentation standards.
• Coordinate care planning and MDS processes; monitor physician services and follow-up.
• Provide education to licensed and unlicensed staff on policies and procedures.
• Maintain inter-departmental communication and prepare reports for nursing leadership.
