Job summary

Blue Heron Senior Living in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to provide daily care, health needs, safety and comfort for residents, with professional assessments and documentation.

You will participate in care plan development, perform nursing procedures with physicians and families, maintain up-to-date records, and support residents and families with compassion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid RN license.
• Understand safe nursing practices per state requirements.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Word/Excel.
• Passion for caring for people and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of residents.
• Develop and document care plans; update nursing plans as needed.
• Visit residents daily to monitor physical/mental condition.
• Perform routine nursing procedures with physicians and families.
• Document 24-hour reports, end of shift reports and medication counts.
• Maintain up-to-date resident medical records.
