Qualifications

• Current CA RN license
• Current CPR Certification
• ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Dysrhythmia interpretation competency by end of orientation
• 1 year Acute Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality professional nursing services in a medical and surgical environment.
• Develops a plan of care based on assessments of patient problems with appropriate interventions.
• Administers medications safely and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Supervises and educates LVN/LVN aides and students as assigned.
• Maintains currency in nursing practice through ongoing education and seminars.
