Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Current BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• High School Diploma/Equivalency required.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient support and clear communication for a positive patient experience.
• Prepare patients for appointments and inform about services.
• Administer medications as directed and observe rights.
• Perform point-of-care tests, EKGs, sutures removal, dressings, and other care activities.
• Collect and document vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Instruct patients on medications and diet.
• Authorize prescription refills as directed.
• Prepare patients, room, and supplies for visit or examination.
• Perform phlebotomy and process specimens.
• Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment.
• Conduct quality controls and equipment checks.
