Job summary

Journey Clinical is shaping psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to expand access to ketamine-based treatment. Our team combines licensed psychotherapy with in-house medical oversight to ensure safe eligibility, treatment planning, and outcome monitoring within a collaborative care model.

As a medical operations nurse, you will be the first escalation point for protocol questions, patient adverse events, and scheduling support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of nursing experience
• 1-3 years in an early-stage startup environment
• Psychedelic knowledge preferred
• Tech savvy with operations/practice administration
• People-first mindset focused on patient goals
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Great listening and communication skills
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Squarespace and Zoom
• Ability to learn quickly, iterate and adapt
• Data-driven approach with KPIs and analytics

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first level escalation for clinical protocol questions/concerns from the medical team, support team(s), and patients
• Serve as the first level escalation for patient adverse events and internal vigilance events
• Provide ongoing support and feedback to medical staff (e.g., prescription issues, chart audits, monitoring of incomplete notes)
• Support the medical team scheduling, and add or adjust team members' schedules accordingly
• Support onboarding for new medical team members
• Document and distribute notes from medical team meetings
• Maintain, update, and develop training content, for onboarding and ongoing education as needed
