Job summary

Worcester Rehab in Worcester, MA is seeking a part-time RN MDS Coordinator to join our reimbursement team. This salaried role offers weekly pay and a competitive hourly rate of $45 to $50, depending on experience.

You will plan, organize, and direct the MDS process, overseeing resident care plans through clinical assessment, medical history review, interviews, and completion of CMS-approved MDS reports. Prior RN licensure in MA and MDS experience are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in MA.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Prior MDS experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the MDS process and resident assessments.
• Oversee ADL training for facility and staff.
• Prepare and transmit CMS-approved MDS item sets.
• Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and HIPAA privacy.
• Communicate with staff on Medicare/insurance matters.
• Maintain documentation to support billed services.
