Job summary

Required are an active Michigan RN license, BLS, and completion of the basic dysrhythmia course; orthopedic certification is preferred and acute care experience is a plus. Schedule is part-time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice in Michigan.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Completion of first available basic dysrhythmia course.
• Six months of acute care experience or equivalent.
• Orthopedic Nurse Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care and integrate evidence-based practices.
• Delegate and coordinate tasks among nursing staff.
• Facilitate patient conferences and discharge planning.
• Mentor new employees and students; provide education opportunities.
• Act as a team leader to ensure proper patient placement.
