Mass General Brigham's Gynecology Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a part-time RN (20 hours per week) to support a busy consultative practice serving ~2,000 patients monthly.

The RN will collaborate with MDs and APPs, provide proficient nursing care, and participate in quality improvement activities. Require 2 years nursing experience; OB/GYN and Epic experience preferred. Onsite at 32 Fruit Street, Boston, MA; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

About the Staff Nurse Role and Gynecology Clinic

• * Part Time 20 Hour RN Position *
• -One Year of RN Experience Strongly Preferred
• -Previous GYN Experience Strongly Preferred

The Gynecology Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital has over 25 providers and see approximately 2000 patients per month. We are mainly a consultative practice that see patients with gynecology complications. Our specialty clinics include Vulvar Clinic, Colposcopy Clinic, Resident Clinic, Family Planning, Minimally Invasive Gynecological surgery and Urogynecology. Our RNs work closely with MDs and APPs (NP).

• -Ensures proficient, conscientious nursing care.
• -Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of patients.
• -Collaborates with the primary physician, members of the patient care team, support staff and nurse manager to achieve efficient patient outcomes.
• -Identifies, facilitates, and evaluates outcomes of nursing care for an individual patient or group of patients.
• -Communicates the plan of care and other pertinent information to and from other health team members.
• -Participates in and contributes to performance improvement activities for the unit.
• -Participates in teaching, education and directs all nursing personnel for whom she/he is responsible if applicable.
• -Participates in orientation of new permanent and temporary staff members.

Skills and Experience for a Staff Nurse

• -2 years of relevant nursing experience (med-surg, ambulatory, inpatient) required.
• -Experience in OB/GYN and/or ambulatory experience preferred.
• -Epic experience preferred.
