Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse for the Gynecology Clinic at 32 Fruit Street, Boston. The role supports MDs/APPs, ensures safe, compassionate nursing care, and participates in care planning and education for patients and families.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Massachusetts, 2 years of relevant nursing experience (OB/GYN ambulatory is preferred), and familiarity with Epic EHR. The position features a 30-hour work week in a day shift, onsite in Boston.

We are mainly a consultative practice that see patients with gynecology complications. Our specialty clinics include Vulvar Clinic, Colposcopy Clinic, Resident Clinic, Family Planning, Minimally Invasive Gynecological surgery and Urogynecology. Our RNs work closely with MDs and APPs (NP). The staff nurse ensures proficient, conscientious nursing care. As a primary nurse is responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of patients. The RN collaborates with the primary physician, members of the patient care team, support staff and nurse manager to achieve efficient patient outcomes. - Identifies, facilitates, and evaluates outcomes of nursing care for an individual patient or group of patients. - Communicates the plan of care and other pertinent information to and from other health team members. - Participates in and contributes to performance improvement activities for the unit. - Participates in teaching, education and directs all nursing personnel for whom she/he is responsible if applicable. - Participates in orientation of new permanent and temporary staff members. Skills and Experience for a Staff Nurse - 2 years of relevant nursing experience (med-surg, ambulatory, inpatient) required. - Experience in OB/GYN and/or ambulatory experience preferred. - Epic experience preferred. Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.
