Job summary

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation in York, Alabama is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time day shift role. You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate resident care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted Alabama RN license with CPR/BLS certification and has experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and committed to quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Assess residents and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families and the care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety and regulatory requirements.
