Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Day Shift at Pondville Correctional Center in Norfolk, MA. The RN delivers quality care within state practice acts, supervising nursing activities as needed and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include medication administration, accurate documentation, vital signs, and coordination with the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or have graduated from an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current license in this state.
• Ability to supervise nursing personnel within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed patient reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments and assist as needed.
• Instruct individuals and families on health education and disease prevention.
