Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Part-Time LPN for the Evening Shift at Northeastern Correctional Center in Concord, MA. The LPN delivers nursing care within the scope of practice and supports inmate health needs under supervision.

Requirements: graduate from an LPN program, MA licensure, CPR certification, and competency testing. Benefits include medical, vision, HSA, life insurance, disability, 401K, PTO and an annual incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
• Active CPR certification.
• Knowledge of state practice laws and regulations.
• Complete initial and annual clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Monitors patients and reports changes to medical staff.
• Administers medications to offenders.
• Documents actions in MAR and medical records.
• Assists in teaching plans on health promotion and restoration.
• Cares for wounds with cleaning and dressing.
• Other nursing duties as assigned.
