VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Shift Registered Nurse at MCI-Shirley in Shirley, MA to deliver high-quality patient care within a correctional health setting.

The RN will manage medications, monitor patient health, document records, and collaborate with the healthcare team while upholding safety and professional standards.

Qualificações

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or have graduated from an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current license in this state (Massachusetts).
• RN works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, delegates and ensures supervision of nursing activities.

Responsabilidades

• The RN maintains accurate, detailed reports and records.
• The RN administers medications to patients and monitors reactions and side effects.
• The RN records patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• The RN monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients’ condition.
• The RN coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• The RN may supervise less-skilled nursing staff and help manage a unit.
• The RN prepares patients for examinations and assists with treatments.
• The RN educates patients and families on health topics and preventive care.
