Job summary

Good Samaritan in Atwood, KS is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the full nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care and treatment.

The ideal candidate will have a nationally accredited nursing program background (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA), an unencumbered RN license, and may serve as charge nurse while

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized care to residents.
• Collaborates with residents, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing

RN license

CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation knowledge (preferred)
