Job summary

Good Samaritan in Ellis, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a not-for-profit setting. The role uses the full nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care across all care phases.

The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks within the care team, ensuring safe, high-quality resident outcomes. State licensure requirements and department competencies are required for practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Nursing program accreditation CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA
