Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care in our Pipestone, MN facility. The RN will use the nursing process to assess and plan resident care, collaborating with families and an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role may involve charge-nurse responsibilities, delegating to licensed and unlicensed staff, and adhering to state practice rules and ethical standards to maintain safe, compassionate care across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and the care team to plan and evaluate outcomes.
• May serve as charge nurse; delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff; ensure safe, ethical care.
