Job summary

Aviara Healthcare Center in Encinitas, CA is seeking a compassionate RN for a part-time role to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license and current RN status.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track total patient care per protocols and procedures.
• Record patient history, treatment plans, meds, vitals, weights, and I/O.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust as needed.
• Prepare charts and logs to monitor treatment results.
• Communicate patient symptoms to physicians and collaborate on care plans.
• Perform routine nursing procedures and update charts.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Maintain hygiene and safety; decontaminate equipment.
• Provide emergency medical care when needed.
• Foster a compassionate environment for patients and families.
• Pursue ongoing education through workshops and conferences.
