Responsibilities

• Direct nursing staff supervision during tour of duty and ensure care quality per standards.
• Participate in developing and updating policies and procedures for nursing services.
• Ensure nursing service personnel comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Maintain liaison with committees (Infection Control, Quality Assurance) as required.
• Ensure adequate staffing and proper work assignments to meet resident care needs.
• Perform administrative duties and report to the Director of Nursing Services.
• Complete required reports and documentation for the nursing service department.
