Job summary

Inspire Behavioral Health in San Jose, CA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a Night shift (11PM–7AM) at our skilled nursing facility. The role supports residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

You will assess, document, administer medications, develop care plans, coordinate with physicians and therapists, and educate residents and families. CA RN license and 1 year SNF/acute care experience required; AHT proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in SNF/acute care/rehabilitation or behavioral health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with clinical software such as American Health Tech (AHT).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and document changes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' needs.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure documentation and charting are accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate residents and families about healthcare needs and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. As an RN, you will be responsible for ensuring that residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines. You will observe, evaluate, and gather data, confer with and be directed by the Director of Nursing to meet emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of the patients. This is a part-time position for NOC shift (11PM-7AM).

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license in the state of California
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation or in-patient behavioral health setting
• Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using our clinical software American Health Tech (AHT) or similar
