Job summary

James Avery Artisan Jewelry is seeking a dedicated in-store supervisor for the Price Plaza location in Katy, TX. You will assist Store Management, direct personnel, and provide exceptional customer service as a frontline member of the Retail Store Leadership Team.

Your duties include supervising guest interactions, managing staff on daily operations, coordinating inventory and purchases, and leading regular staff trainings and store meetings to drive sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent with a minimum 1-year retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen requirements before starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Management with in-store supervision and directing personnel.
• Provide leadership and excellent customer service on the sales floor.
• Monitor guest issues and communicate with supervisor about product/personnel concerns.
• Oversee guest returns following retail policies and ensure guest service standards are met.
• Coordinate supply orders from warehouse and purchasing channels.
• Lead store opening/closing duties and staff training.
• Attend inventory activities and assist with cycle counting and receiving processes.
• Lead store meetings, events, and promotions; develop team-building activities.
• Communicate product trends to District Manager and maintain store presentation standards.
