Job summary

Office Depot OfficeMax is seeking a part-time Retail Team Lead to drive sales across products, technology, services, furniture and print, while building strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership on the sales floor, training, store merchandising, and participation in exterior Key Carrier duties. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of sales/customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience in sales or customer service.
• Basic computer skills; able to use job-related technology and POS systems.
• Attention to detail and, ideally, experience in Print Services.
• Advanced selling skills and strong customer focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Print Sales and Services: support efficient operation while driving store sales and completing client orders on-time.
• Operational Efficiency: process merchandise, follow procedures, and support loss prevention.
• Client Engagement: coach staff, drive customer satisfaction, and support community outreach.
• External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: manage opening/closing, store security, and cash handling oversight.
