Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Ann Arbor is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals. This role supports the community by turning donations into funding for programs and services.

You will sort and tag merchandise, help track production numbers, and move items to the sales floor, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Training is provided and team collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or actively pursuing one.
• Experience in retail or thrift store is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.
• Receive trucks and assist to load/unload and move product to departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Work with team to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.

Location: Ann Arbor MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
