Job summary

The Michaels Companies Carlisle store is seeking a part-time Retail Stocker to help unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain in-store presentation. You will assist customers, process checkout transactions, and promote rewards programs while upholding safety and store standards.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, physical stamina for long shifts, and a willingness to work early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with truck unload and stocking to maintain shelf availability.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers about rewards programs and enroll them as appropriate.
• Support BOPIS/SFS and omni-channel processes as needed.
• Maintain planograms and merchandise recovery to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and teammates.
