Job summary

University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Part-time Retail Shift Lead to support three campus stores and a copy center. You will open or close operations, supervise student workers, and ensure accurate transactions and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store operations as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with merchandise selection.
• Perform basic data entry and handle various transactions (cash, checks, Panther Funds, gift cards).
• Supervise student workers and assign daily tasks.
• Stock, merchandise, and maintain an organized sales floor.
• Assist with off-site events as needed.
