Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to create a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, organizational skills, and reliability in a fast-paced retail setting. This is a part-time position with responsibilities across stocking, cash handling, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks common to store roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
