Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and provide a great shopping experience for every customer. The role focuses on assisting customers, processing transactions at the register, and maintaining store upkeep.

Responsibilities include restocking, unloading trucks, and ensuring a safe, friendly, and clean environment. This position may involve various duties as needed to support store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean, bathrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash taken out, and areas neat and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
