Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC in Michigan is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock the floor, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and customer service experience. You’ll work at the register, support unloading and stocking, and maintain safety and friendly relations with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent physical activity.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
