Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer for a storefront/foot patrol role in Hagerstown, MD. You will provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs for deliveries, arrivals, and departures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders.
Help support the orderly movement of people and vehicles while documenting observations and completing reports.
