Job summary

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Retail Site in Boston, MA. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 1:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with paid orientation and paid training.

Candidate must have 6+ months of security experience. As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard tenants and visitors, monitor the site, and provide exceptional customer service at a commercial real estate location.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs while communicating relevant information to incoming personnel and property representatives.
