Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores weekly, scanning barcodes and helping improve product performance. The role offers flexible hours and ongoing projects across stores. You must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Training and AI-assisted resume screening are part of the process. Work includes 52 weeks a year across grocery and mass merchandise retailers, with travel paid at hourly rate

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Tech savvy and able to use a mobile scanning app.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers weekly for data collection by scanning barcodes.
• Work across grocery, convenience, drug, pet and mass merchandise stores.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and report quantities as needed.
• Complete in-store scanning weekly and handle possible extra hours for projects.
