Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local grocery and convenience stores to scan barcodes, collect data, and support retailer insights. The role offers flexible hours (2–5 hours per week per store), paid travel at your hourly rate, and 401(k) eligibility.

Candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. This position involves physical activity and independent work with 52 weeks of data collection across various retailers.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and limbs.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers weekly to scan barcodes and collect data.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout stores.
• Provide quantity data for selected products as required.
• Complete display scanning and data collection across stores.
• Meet weekly deadlines and report to assigned stores.
