Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year. You will scan barcodes across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores using a downloadable mobile app.

Base hours average 6–14.5 per week per store, with potential extra hours for special projects. Must be at least 18 with a valid license and reliable vehicle; Tampa-area routes available.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with adequate auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods while accessing products.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven and reliable for weekly deadlines.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and basic tech skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections weekly for 52 weeks a year.
• Scan barcodes in grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass retailers.
• Use a mobile app to capture barcode data at assigned stores.
• Report to assigned store with attention to deadlines and quality.
• Provide product quantity data for a subset of scanned items.
• Support clients including major national chains.
