Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes with a mobile app. This role emphasizes independent work, reliability, and attention to detail in retail environments across Decorah and nearby areas.

You will support data collection that informs store performance and client insights, with schedule flexibility tailored to project needs. The position offers frequent weekend or weekday scanning, 2–4 hours per week on average, and additional hours

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with adequate insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan product barcodes across locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete in-store data collection for multiple retailer types.
• Meet weekly deadlines and ensure data quality for clients.
• Assist with additional small projects as needed.
