Job summary

ScanScape Retail is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores, scan barcodes, and collect in-store data weekly. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, independence, and consistent work across grocery, drug, and other retailers throughout the year.

Expect 2–5 hours per week on average per store, with 1–2 extra hours per week per store for special projects, higher demand Jan–Jun, and travel reimbursement at hourly rate. Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and reach shelves.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech‑savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores weekly to scan barcodes in displays and aisles.
• Record quantities for about 45% of scanned products weekly.
• Complete in-store data collection for 52 weeks per year including holidays.
• Adhere to deadlines and deliver quality data to clients.
