BuddiesHR is hiring for a Retail Scan Associate in Dayton, OH. This permanent part-time role averages 4–11 hours per week across all stores, with additional 1–2 hours for special projects; scheduling details reviewed at interview.

As a Retail Scan Associate you visit stores to scan product barcodes with a mobile app, provide quantity for about 45% of scanned items, and support retailers with data collection.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch.
• Must be deadline-driven and able to work independently.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes across displays and aisles using a mobile app.
• Record quantities for about 45% of scanned products weekly.
• Visit assigned stores for data collection 52 weeks a year.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data to clients.
